Ever wondered how many imaginary people died in any given movie? Oddly enough someone out there took the time to create a website dedicated to this. So who hits number 1? Well my friends it appears 836 ‘people’ (Elves, Dwarves, Hobbits, Orcs, Trolls, Danish Actors, Floating Eyes, Giant Eagles, etc) died in Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. If you add the other films the body count gets up to around 1500. Why does this matter? Well, it doesn’t at all but why do half the things I post matter – we’re talking film here.
